This year’s Boston Magazine Design Home project hits home in more ways than one. First, the annual architectural/home dec showcase is being held at a brand new residence in Salisbury (the next town over from Spiker’s Amesbury base). Next, along with fellow Kitchen Local compatriot Events By BH — the official caterer of Design Home social events — Spiker’s Shrubs will be on the menu as “The Salisbury Sparkler,” a refreshing non-alcoholic sip featuring three of our special flavors (Pineapple Basil, Peach Rosemary, and Sour Cherry Plum).
Above all, the most important part of “hitting home” is the fact that all ticket sales benefit Boston’s Children’s Hospital. You don’t have to look too far to find someone who in some way has been blessed by the work done at BCH. One of our own beautiful grandchildren was cared for recently by the nurses and doctors there, and we will be forever grateful for their kindness and skill.
Spiker’s has donated its products as our way of saying thanks. We hope you will do your share by purchasing tickets to tour the handsome home which features — for the first time in BMag history — green building strategies and decor. The net-zero energy home includes furnishings by many local companies, so gather your friends and purchase a ticket today. Admission is just $25 and 100% of the sales go to BCH.
